During the rainy season it is hottest; the average temperature then reaches a maximum of 30 degrees. In the dry season, on the other hand, it averages 28 degrees.
Avoid the rain season

If so, it is best to avoid the months of May through June and September through November. In fact, during these periods, the most rain falls. Some parts of Jamaica receive more rain than others. Jamaica’s capital, Kingston, is among the somewhat drier places. In contrast, Portland County is the wettest destination.
