Luxembourg may not be the largest country in Europe , but it certainly has a lot to offer. Because the nature that you can find here is impressive! In addition, you also have beautiful cities such as the capital of the same name Luxembourg or Echternach and Vianden. Luxembourg has a wide range of castles and buildings with historical value that you can visit. And the big advantage is that this is not that far away from Belgium and the Netherlands.

Helpful facts

Luxembourg

How do you get there?

It is best to go to Luxembourg with your own car. Not only because you won’t be on the road for long, but also because this is the cheapest way to reach this country. In addition, a car in Luxembourg itself is also very easy to get from A to B. Because not every place can be reached by public transport. Gasoline is also cheap here. There are (almost) no direct flights from Belgium and the Netherlands. A bus trip is therefore a good alternative.

Luxembourg accommodation

The accommodation you see most in Luxembourg is undoubtedly a hotel. The price for a night in a decent hotel starts at 65 euros. This price is very dependent on the region and the season. You can find a good Airbnb or hostel from 45 euros for a night. Another popular place to stay is undoubtedly a holiday home for the whole family. Depending on the season, you can already find a house here for 600 euros per week.

Cozy towns and villages

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has many beautiful and cozy cities that are worth a visit. Vianden, Echternach and Clervaux are just a few examples of cozy cities. Where you can also enjoy delicious Burgundian food. Cities that are also worth a visit are Larochette, Diekirch, Ettelbruck and Wiltz

Nature

The biggest reason for tourism in Luxembourg is undoubtedly nature. With some beautiful forests and some magical places like Müllerthal. Where you imagine yourself in a Disney decor. We are especially fans of autumn in Luxembourg. The beautiful and cozy colors are nowhere more beautiful than here.
