We mainly associate Germany with beautiful nature such as the black forest and Saarland or the beautiful region and nature around and in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Of course, Germany is more than just nature. You also have some nice cities for a city trip here. You can go to Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne or Essen. And the big advantage is that you don’t have to go far for it. A trip to, for example, Trier in the Moselle valley is only a 3-hour drive. Ideal for a nice weekend away in Europe .

Germany

Transportation to

Although in our opinion Germany is best reached by car or train, you can of course also go by plane. For example, outside the high season you can go to Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich and many other cities for 20 euros. In all school holidays you can easily double or triple for a one-way ticket. However, this is not the most ecological option. A train is therefore a very good alternative. For example, the price for a train to Berlin starts at 40 per person.

Accomodations

Germany has a wide range of accommodations. You can stay in a hotel, guest house, chalet, holiday home or even at a campsite. The prices for this vary from region to region and from period to period, but in general you can certainly find something for 40 euros per night. Do you still want to go under this budget? Then you should already look at an Airbnb or a hostel. Which in most cases is always very well cared for.

Transportation in Germany

The best way to transport yourself through Germany is of course with your own car. You have excellent roads here where you can often go faster than 130. Are you not going with your own car? Then you can also rent a car, this is possible from 30 a day for a decent car. Public transport is also a very good option here. Because this country has an excellent train network, you can get everywhere in a carefree way. The only drawback to this is sometimes the expensive price for some routes. In the cities themselves you can use a bus, tram or metro in a cheap way. These are also exceptionally well arranged here and have a relatively low cost price.
